Carlton Forge Works is Hiring a Quality Systems Specialist Near Downey, CA
- Comply with PCC Code of Conduct requirements and all PCC Cardinal Rules (e.g. Quality and Safety).
- Comply and enforce Cardinal Rules of Quality.
- Maintain quality documents and approved supplier list.
- Manage customer quality surveys. Under general supervision establish and maintain quality systems and compliance program, procedures, and controls to ensure that the performance and quality of product confirms to the established processes and procedures.
- Perform supplier management activities including quality management system audits, periodic reviews of quality and delivery performance data.
- Monitor quality control activities and processes at suppliers. Review and analyze corrective action and non-conformance data to eliminate non-conformances.
- Supporting development and implementation of Quality projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Possess the ability to work autonomously on specific compliance or quality system projects within determined timelines.
- Excellent communication and written skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Critical thinker, detailed oriented, while overseeing multiple tasks for several projects.
- Excellent computer skills including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Capable of creating and using Excel Pivot Tables and VLookup, preferred.
- Experience providing project support to management.
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience working with Aerospace Quality Systems.
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk and sit. The employee occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
